Its getting close

Only 16 days and our bikes plus limited comforts will be packed and sent on our mini adventure across to South Asia. Where our journey begins at Da Nang airport on the east cost of Vietnam, then over the next two weeks will take us down Vietnam to the only southern border crossing into Laos. Through southern Laos and over the undulating to put it mildly terrain to the Mekong river, follow that for a few hundred kilometres south into Cambodia, and eventually to Siem Reap, where a rendezvous with Dave and Shereen will happen on his birthday in pub street on June 3rd. So I'm hoping you will enjoy this trip and our progress over the next month. You may be wondering why the blog, well there's method in the madness, if we are kidnapped, eaten or just got completely lost, you will at least know where to start the search.( I don't think Erika will be translating this part to her mum in Hungarian.) If I managed to fathom out how to upload pictures onto the blog page, you may even get to see some real time action.
